Liepajas Liedaga vidusskola is a state minority school. The school provides free public general basic (primary and lower secondary) education and general secondary education in Latvia. Situated near the shore of the Baltic Sea, on 5 Liedaga street in Liepaja, Latvia, the public school enjoys the beauty of all four seasons of the year. Surrounded by the school’s open track-and-run field, city-built closed tennis- and volleyball courts and a tennis hall, a vehicle parking area and multi-storey apartment homes, it has a supermarket within an arm’s reach.
The school has a modernly equipped canteen, wardrobes, a gym with changing rooms and showers, a track-and-run field with compacted football and basketball fields, a library, a multifunctional hall room, two ICT rooms, a teacher’s room and 50 classrooms. Every classroom has a computer, a projector, a TV or an interactive board and a free Internet Wi-Fi connection.
On 13th June 2019, the City Council of Liepaja has made a decision to merge two public schools, previously known as Liepājas A.Puškina 2. vidusskola and Liepājas 12.vidusskola, and named the two merged schools as Liepājas Liedaga vidusskola. The 1st school year started in September 2019 with over 1000 students.
